Hidden Beauty: An exploration of unseen technology
This exhibition of multiple pieces made from reclaimed wood, circuit boards, heat sinks, servers, hard drives, magnetic tape, and electronic components, exposed the colorful artistry and ingenuity of human beings hidden beneath drab protective cases. Mixed media pieces hung on the walls surrounding a kinetic sculpture made from a server. Artomatic, Washington DC's premier arts festival that's "by artists, for everyone,” hosted Hidden Beauty and the works of 600 artists for 6 weeks on 7 floors of an empty commercial office building in 2017.
